aces/teachers' day. we did the fun dance, and (thanks to brendan for reminding me) kee yong was going around dancing like he was drunk or something. teachers' day celebration was kinda fun. the items were wonderful. 'one night in beijing...' i NEVER want to hear that again. teachers who were old boys wished their teachers a happy teachers' day too...touching indeed.

sunday:
went to lincoln's place for class party/teachers' day celebration. his dog is just about the cutest thing in bishan. went aroung taking photos. got quite good ones too. there was a 'blackout warning', or rather, we brought in the cake for denis. then we played DD for a while. we had quite a good time actually.

Just finished watching the Samurai X movie. AERIAL AMAKAKERU RYU NO HIRAMEKI!!!!!!!!! wonderful. really wonderful. too bad most of the people died. too bad there was no hiko either. then again, i don't really see a place for hiko to fit in...so maybe it's all for the best. i know i'll sleep well tonight...actually, i won't be sleeping, i'll be remembering the movie. and to quote a passer-by, "it's ok, samurai boy"

tomorrow is teachers' day/aces. fun dance. oh boy. i'm considering skipping, but lately all the excuses all seem so...old. i guess i may not be skipping after all...unless i think of a new excuse. so...schedule for tomorrow: bo liao around in school until 10, go home for a change, maybe watch LXG. i've been meaning to catch it for the LONGEST time. hope it hasn't stopped showing. all i've heard were positive reviews.

I'm feeling quite sad today. firstly, i failed history and elec geog/ss. including maths, that's 3 down. so there must be only 1 failure in my languages (preferably chinese). i pray.

there was a change of place in class today. i got shifted all the way to the other side of the room. close to the door. which means that my place is the ideal target for theives, vandals and god knows what else. luckily, denis places high priority on missing stuff...so ^_^

Sooooo...history got postponed to term 4 week 1 friday. whee. glory. i didn't study for it anyway. thank whoever's up there that the holidays were so well-placed.

Someone from 3/4 got caned today. dm toh said he used handphone and typed in the han yu pin yin for tian xie han zi. too bad he got caught. speaking of dm toh, 2 things happened in his class today. we found out he's going to china to recruit 'foreign talent' for the school. he'll be gone 8 days. terence is taking over as dm for those 8 days...dm goh...nah. the second thing i learnt is that i have a new favourite cheng yu. fa fen tu qiang, or "gia sai tor bia". hope your hokkien is good enough to figure it out.

the newest XME episodes (from 310 onwards) seem to be screwy. i can't get a clear video. oh well. i'll find a way.

training was kinda boring i suppose...3 games, the usual. NOTE: figure out how the cane thingy works.

so, i was playing ranma for zsnes. i can never give up, right? right. mousse is the best character i've tried so far. only because of his air-> ground attack. i'm confident i can win almost anybody. ^_^

soccer season starting...or rather, started a while ago already. a certain scooer fan also has psle...maybe i'll unsubscribe from scv for a month or two.

Thought about many decisions on the way home. to quote something i (over)heard today, "if you'll never regret this decision, do it. if you think you will ever look back at any point of your life and question this decision, better don't do it." I question many of my decisions. like my humans choice. i suppose it's the best as i suck at geog and hate lit.

one choice i never regretted was going to cat high. i don't know why i'm posting this on a public place such as here, but i think that was one of the best decisions of my life.

i need help. i'm looking forward to maths lessons. even though it's been my worst subject since june of my sec 1 year. oh well. maybe it's the atmosphere in a maths class.

i forgot to bring home the newspaper and compre/summary. toh & goh are going to be angry. hmmmm...T&G?? mayyyyybe...or not.

now all i can do is hope they forget. going to pray.

28/30 for chem common test. i loved my life for 4.5 periods, then grew to hate it again when i found out my physics got 22/40. v_v. oh well. you win some, you lose some.

so...i may be forced to drop a maths if i fail the test on friday. good luck to me.

heard i failed english though. well, what can i say? i didn't expect it.

if i can just pass history and the second elec geog test, i swear i'll volunteer for any project the school is doing, as long as there is no clash with CCA or other stuff. let all the readers of my blog bear witness to this.

I'm an underperformer. sad but true. denis just conformed it and i have to stay back every day to do maths. but i'm not the only one, if that's some consolation. there's 8 other people who got pulled into the proverbial water.

only got ss, argumentative, a maths and chinese left. all in ONE DAY. yahoo. if i make it to sec 4 without getting retained, i'll pray and worship every god i know forever. i mean this one. with my grades, if i don't die, miracles must be happening.

raining today. didn't get home until 5++. just because i had to stay back for maths "remedial". being in a classroom with people who can and will cause you EXTREME PAIN is not much fun. my arms will be amputated by the time i'm 25. better make the most of it now. ^_^

i really don't know what to say. now i'm actually worried i may be forced to drop *2* subjects. i got into shit for history and i DESPERATELY need to improve on it and on a maths as well. i need to scream. i really do. so here goes: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

PC/assembly was rather...funny. we had this sex-ed talk, and the speakers were mrs. long, anna tan and toh yee lin. of all the people...oh well. maybe there's a reason for this, like all the other teachers were too embarassed...or something like that. halfway through, aaron kwek and brian heng got called out by edwin heng for making some stupid noises when they were going to show the video.

sec 1s had their napfa today. stayed back for a while to laugh at adam and xue hua...felt bo liao i guess.

Well, just finished studying physics. not too tough. *MAY* pass. good for me. i really don't know what to say...life is rather...monotonous.wake up, go to school, come back from school, computer, ranma, work, maybe TV or more computer, sleep. same thing every day.

Slacked for 2 periods straight. DM Toh didn't turn up for chinese, so free period. then got bio common test. thank god i don't take bio. went to library to read some sanguo. did NOTHING constructive except reviewing the battle of Guan Du and Wu Zhang Plains. fun all over...

mdm. gay got pissed off at us because we didn't want to present during PW period. *quote*"the madam isn't so gay already"*/quote*. we ended up doing it after school. stayed till 3++. our presentation didn't meet criteria as it had to tie in with SS. strange that we didn't know. who cares...i think my history won't fail anyway.

apparently, the fairies slacked off today (refer to previous post). we got 2nd, with phillippe coming in first. must be because of the staff race. never saw terence and kee yong run so fast. quite sure that KY didnt give 100% though. he was too far in the lead. house spirit is contagious. for me at least. went down to help cheering. WHAT WAS I THINKING??

this sec 1 boy, shawn lee (sp?) ran for us even though he had a fractured wrist. good effort shawn, if you ever read this.

in the stadium, i met lots of old friends. talked a lot (when we were not cheering). i realize i haven't PROPERLY talked with some of them for a long time. lots of catching up. i miss 2/5 i suppose. made some new friends from other levels also. mainly sec 1 and 2. wonder how sports day next year will be like, sec 4 and all.

there's some things which no matter how much you want to say them, can never be said. even the internet cannot hide 100% of your identity. all you can do is keep it inside...or write a diary and burn it later.

as a smart guy once told me, "blogs are a good way of letting off steam" (sorry if this is not the exact quote). now, i couldn't agree more. although this is still realtively new, it's done wonders for me.

today was rather stupid, actually. english, double chinese, chem, recess, double maths, house meeting. no movies for chem today. too bad. maths is getting more and more relaxed. there must be an evil plot to keep us back another year in sec 3.

house meeting was, to put it simply, a flop. nobody wanted to cheer. with this lack of team spirit, we can still be in the lead. some fairies must be HARD at work here. ^_^

even though esplanade concert and SYF are both over, the band still keeps practising. to say it nicely, they are extremely hardworking. to say it less nicely, they are persistent little buggers (NOTE: No offense WHATSOEVER to band members that chance upon this). speaking of band...there's this irritatig little...irritant. Toh something-or-the-other from 2/1. If you EVER do read this, do the world a favour and stop following in kevin teo's footsteps.

today was pretty slack. we saw a total of 4 teachers for lessons throughout the whole day. wednesdays rule. there was combined assembly. 100 mins of drama. congratulations to all 3/6 lit students for winning something in the competition!!

after school the comm had a little meeting at SICC. quite funny, actually. raised a lot of topics. 5.30 when i reached home. played a little KH (i found a power point that doesnt cause the game to hang every 5 mins. whee for me.)

Rather boring. Guess who failed maths (again). All the people that read this have the right to kill me if i take a job that has more complex maths than 1 + 1.

Heard the choir & band rehearsing for Esplanade. Not too bad (although, who am i to judge?).

Training doesnt start for another week, so these are my last few days of free time. I'm sure you can tell there's a lot going on in my life, no?
