As promised to David and some others, the post on girls and other stuff.

well, girls in japan are almost the same: golden hair, mostly cute-looking, short skirt, high socks and boots. and i was lucky to spot a few schoolgirls, considering there was a holiday for the time i was there. they went back to school for CCA. my cousins and i spotted many many good-looking girls. there's this strange thing about japanese girls that attracts us to them. god knows what it is, but it's powerful. every time we stop at a tour destination, i'd find myself checking some of the girls out. and that's not normally something i do in public. after some discussion, we have concluded that the best looking girls are of eurasian-japanese descent, like a certain air stewardess.

oh...one thing i forgot to mention in the previous post...i also went to Ikkebukuro(sp?), in tokyo. there, there was this really "OOOOOOOOOOOH..." cashier at one of the stalls. i wanted to stay longer, but we had to go back to the hotel. too bad. v_v

school in about 2 days?? so sian...i dowanna go back. but i also wanna go back at the same time...so confusing. time to wiegh the pros and cons:

Pros
- Able to see friends
- Have something to keep you busy
- Training to keep you from going mad
- National schools

Cons
- DENIS LEONG
- Mucho stress
- Busy year
- Studying about 3-5 hours/day

oh well...they're evenly matched. guess i don't have a case to fight. countdown to 2004: 7h 26mins. countdown to school: 36h 56(?)mins.

I'm baaaack....hope everything's fine with all the people at home. to keep you all amused, i'll be providing a (not so) brief summary of my tour. keep in mind that this is NOT in chronological order. i post things as i think of them. i also don't remember the names of most of the places, but i'll try my best.

Intro of the people on the tour
Ronnie: Our tour guide. Very friendly and sorta perverted in a good way.
Thomas: Tour guide #2. He's actually a model, but he's doing part-time tour guiding.
Nara-san: Our tour bus driver. He appears to be a very nice, middle-aged man, but we would later find out he's the grand master of iku-iku
The Loh family: 1 grandmother, 2 parents, and 3 kids. Pretty nice people in general.
The Romanovs: A couple. Oh how I hate them.
The Sim family: 1 grandmother, 2 parents with 2 children, about 19 and 16(?). We made quite good friends with the 19-year old guy, but his sister was a little...distanced. Oh...and the father smokes.
The Goh family: 2 parents with 2 children. Pretty snobby. The younger Goh is an 18 year old girl with eyes that creep people out. The older Goh is a ?? year old, rather feminine guy.
Mr Tan and Ms Sim: Another couple. They pretty much kept to themselves.
Zi Wei and Wei Li: The third couple. Generally OK people.
The Lee Family: Us. My uncle and aunt, two cousins, my brother and me. I suppose I'd better explain something. My father's elder brother married my mother's elder sister, which is why our families are so close.

The flights
oh how they sucked. But i suppose it was mainly my fault. Couldn't find a comfortable position to sleep. Ended up watching Johnny English, My Boss' Daughter and The Hulk. All pretty good shows, actually. The staff were all extremely friendly too, possibly the only redeeming feature of the flight.

Some national park in Osaka
The first attraction on the first day. Very scenic, and very cold. We got to see how strong the Japanese people were, as old folks were actually out jogging in the cold wearing only a T-shirt and shorts. I admire their spirit. We tried genuine 100% Japanese octopus-y thingys, and they're better than Singapore-made ones.

Universal Studios Osaka
Very big place. Many attractions. However, the Terminator stimulation thingy was kinda boring. But Back to the Future was fun. Did some shopping and stuff as well.

Shinsaibashi
Osaka's Orchard Road. Many many shops. Did even more shopping and took lotsa photos. Japan is really open-minded. There can be posters of almost-nude girls in an open street where all kinds of people pass by. Too bad Singapore's not like this.

Hyatt Regency Osaka
Wonderful hotel. The most memorable thing was that you could control the curtains from the window. And that my cousin opened an emergency-exit window and couldn't close it. So, after calling the hotel staff, he decided to make the best out of a bad situation and screamed "JAPAN!!! I LOVE YOU!!!" out of the window. We were laughing for days after that.

The Temples
We visited many temples over the course of the whole tour. I'm just gonna summarize it. All of the temples have wonderful scenery and a whole lot of religious history. I prayed at all the temples for results in the o's, so I feel a little better. They really screwed up Buddhism quite a bit as it was sorta different from the original religion in China/India. In case you guys haven't heard, the original Japanese religion is called Shinto. I believe the translation is xin4 dao4, or belief in the way, but I'm not too sure. I also learnt how to pray, Japanese style. It's kinda complicated, so no elaboration here.

One particular temple that stands out is the Kyomizu (Clear water) Temple. It's on top of a mountain, and along the way, there were at least 200 shops. A particular shop caught my attention because they were selling katanas. They had everything I was looking for, but due to customs at the airport, I had to walk away. So sad. I will move to Japan in future and get everything I want.

Hotspring Inn
This is not the real name of the place, just one I made up as I don't know the real name. The hotspring there was WONDERFUL, but it was only accessible on one condition: You cannot wear any clothes into the pool. Sounds kinda...extreme for most Singaporeans, but that's the way it works. Besides, nudity is a small price to pay for the wonderful feeling of 40 degrees C hot water with great healing powers.

Mt. Fuji
The coldest place in Japan. 1 degree C. Had snow fights and I left my initials on the mountain. Really good place.

Tokyo Disneyland
It was fun. Many rides, and great staff. Tons of shops too. Did most of my shopping there.

Stuff we did in the hotels
Mainly play daidee, where the loser would swallow wasabi. I got hit about 40-60% of the time. But luckily, I escaped both sudden death matches, which had more severe forfeits. Ever tried Pepsi, tomato juice and wasabi mixed together? They said It tasted like milo.

that about wraps up my time in Japan. The thing i miss most is the wonderful service. imagine this: the staff greet you as you walk past their shop. You don't even have to go in. When you need help, someone will just materialize and try to communicate with you, even if they know nuts about english and you speak all of 6 words of japanese. It's really wonderful. too bad singapore's not like this. oh well. school in 4 days' time. how sad. gotta get it together and face it.

Now, the thing at the bottom of my entries can be anything. a quote, a fact *imagines happy dexter*, or a link to videos and whatnot.

It's been quite a while...just to let you all know i'm still alive. i'll be going off to japan on monday, and will probably return a week later. please don't expect any flight reports or any of those sort of things...the best you're gonna get is "the flight was good" or something similar.

please don't call my phone or sms me these few days. a very unfortunate thing has happened, but i won't elaborate yet. till next time, i'm out.

I just received one of the worst pieces of news in the year. wang jiunn and mr siau won't be taking my sciences next year. the possible candidates that will take my sciences are yee lin and ms foo. oh the pain. i'll probably fall asleep every chem lesson and learn nothing during physics. and i thought i could neglect sciences a little next year. guess not.

it's the asthe-thingy concert this evening. although i won't be going, i'll be there supporting the band guys in spirit. best of luck!! ^_^

*add-on* will the person who took my quiz under the name of 'xyz' please tell me who he/she is? if you don't want to publicly reveal your identity, you can always sms, email, or look me up on msn.

~quote of the day: The most perfect man has also failed in failing.~
So...tried to take another seaside walk, but this attempt failed miserably. for you see, it was raining. got caught in the rain a little though. and i found a new way of reaching the underpass to east coast without going through the long long tunnel/maze-like thingy.

also went for flu vaccination jab. i have up to a year's immunity from flu...can take o's in peace.

holidays are boring. so, to help waste 10 minutes of your life, i came up with a little quiz. take it here.

~quote of the day: The empires of the future are the empires of the mind.~

Thursday, December 11, 2003

Went to east coast for an afternoon walk. it's good to have relatives staying near the seaside.

it was, well, relaxing to spend a few hours away from big buildings and such. and it gave me an idea of a future home. imagine spending your days sitting by the beach. maybe i'll hijack a plane and take it to some pacific island. and i couldn't resist taking a few pictures, thanks to my camera phone ^_^. it also got me into this philosophical mood. i hate it when that happens...i get all depressed-like.

i tried to write some stuff in the sand, but failed miserably. the waves were too quick. i was thinking: can i twist it so it sounds like a cheesy representation of life? i tried, and this is what i came up with. "life's all about writing stuff in the sand. the challenge is whether you can write something deep enough to withstand the waves of time." sounds rather...retarded. but oh well.

i also tried to make stones skip across the water. maximum was 4 times. i still don't quite get the physics behind it. what should be the angle of the sone hitting the water surface so that it will bounce up again? of course, i was doing it at the sea, so we have to take the rough water surface into account. maybe you should use more force to give the stone energy to propel itself across the water. or maybe i should do this with a still body of water for best results.

i guess the highlight of my day was the walk. my cousin tried (rather successfully, i think) to explain this sense of depression in the holidays. <quote>you feel like this because unlike ordinary schooldays, you're just drifting around aimlessly in the holidays, with nothing to look forward to.</quote>

oh well...that's all for me. i'm out.

So...here i am again after 7 days. it's been kinda long, no? i suppose an excuse which i can give is FFX-2, which is really addictive. i guess another reason is that nobody bothers to blog much during the holidays. after all, blogs are pretty much stress relief places and there's hardly any stress in the holidays.

now, a list of my holiday homework and the 'do by' date:
- sciences: by wednesday
- history: by thursday
- maths: by the end of the week
- geog: by term 1 2004, if i can find it
- chinese: by term 1 2004, if i can find it
i think that's about it. oh well.

I'm sorry for the lack in updates these 4+ days. i was away at sentosa for a cca camp from 28/11 to 01/12 morning. and being the ulu place sentosa is, there's no internet, so i apologize again. ^_^"

the camp was kinda fun, and i gained even more insight in my seniors' and coach's way of assessing us. i guess our committee isn't as good as i'd thought. the captain's a little lacking in the leadership department. and a few committee members are still kinda fond of duty-pushing, or so they say. aaanyway...a quick recap of the camp to keep my readers amused:

Afternoon/Night 1
just settling in. it was pretty much slack time. just sat around telling jokes, watching tv and doing some pretty normal stuff.

Day 2
The boredom killer arrived. bruce almighty. i think i watched it about 5+ times throughout the course of the camp. some seniors also came. 2 sec 4's from this year, 1 sec 4 from last year, and 1 sec 4 from 2 years ago. they helped do the bbq that was part of that night's dinner. and i never properly thanked them. i feel so bad. went to the beach in the afternoon, but didn't go in the H2O as i didn't have enough clothes. tried archery instead. damn fun. went to watch musical fountain thingy in the night. rather good, and the fire totally caught me by surprise.

Day 3
Pretty average day. went to help clean up the bunks as checkout was the next day. got wet as i figured i had nothing to lose now. went to the musical fountain again as i missed the first 10 mins the previous day. turns out i didn't miss too much. oh well. and learnt how to play bridge, courtesy of alex.

Morning 4
Even more cleaning. after checkout, went to bk for lunch, then went home to drop off some stuff, and then came to my cousin's place where i am now.

a big thanks to everyone who have helped in one way or another to bring such fun to the camp. especially to the coach, the teachers, the seniors and the kitchen crew. thanks for giving me something that i won't forget that easily, and i hope i have given something in return as well.

i guess the camp did, to a certain extent, achieve its objectives. to provide a retreat, to bring about team bonding, and finally, to assess the students. i'm significantly closer to the sec 1's, and have strengthened bonds with the sec 2's and 3's. such fun.

btw. Brendan: you left your OP long-sleeved shirt behind. i'll return it on the 1st day of school next year.

Thursday, November 27, 2003

This is one of the longest periods of time which i have not updated. we're into the fourth week of the holidays and guess who hasn't done any homework?? life is getting quite boring. all i ever do is play and slack. how fun. remember when i said i would learn to navigate around every part of singapore without getting lost by the end of november? i let myself down. guess my directional sense isn't as good as i imagined.

i'm sorry to announce that i've run out of RK facts, mainly due to 2 reasons. 1: i'm assuming you're all geniuses and know almost everything about it. 2: i'm not sure which facts will interest you all. so...i'm sorry. i'll have to replace the "fact of the day" with a "quote of the day"

"i've been having these really wierd dreams lately." the famous kingdom hearts line. it applies to me as well. these few days, i've dreamt of pretty freaky stuff. to take up space, i'll post those i remember:

- terence goh telling me he's the only teacher who can help me ace my english next year.
- dm toh and the discipline committee hunting me down in a carpark for not handing up homework. a product of my guilty consience.
- a sec 1 friend from another school inviting me to his home (don't ask)
- a few nightmares.
- Running from something.
it's funny how you can never seem to remember your dreams. just this morning i swore to myself i would never forget what i just dreamt about and guess what?? oh well. i even dreamt of writing my dream down. how screwy's that?

on a slightly better note, i got my phone. a grey 7250i. it's charging now, so i don't expect to use it until tomorrow. ^_^ speaking of tomorrow, it's the camp. what good timing. can anyone say photos? also, if any team members are reading this, please tell me what time we meet tomorrow. i really haven't a bloody clue.

~The quote of the day will start in the next post.~

Saturday, November 22, 2003

I'm gonna get a new phone...i'm gonna get a new phone. *dances* but it's my own $$...think a 7250i's worth $498? although it's somewhat lacking in the ringtone department...some of its other features make up for it. oh well. if i get conned this time round, i'll take it as a lesson. i do save a lot in a year. ^_^

is it just me or does every page i go to have a "done, but with errors" on it?? even my own page has this problem, when i know the scripting and html are absolutely flawless. once again, oh well.

~fact of the day: For the best Hiko Seijuro XIV, Shougo should have taken over the present Hiko.~

Friday, November 21, 2003

Went back to school for 1 hour+ for some sports psycho briefing thing. turns out our cca's goal for next year is to send 2 people for the masters. whee. and to quote mr. chew, "we are team gong jiao. we aim to build up closer inter-cca relations." so inspirational. but we have to sign a contract of sorts, pledging that our attire is neat, no tucked-out shirts *pauses to look at brendan*, we must do well academically, have sportsmanship, all the usual stuff. we have a choice to sign or not. but the school also has a choice to put us in the competitions or not. so it boils down to: if you don't sign, no competitions for you.

regarding the previous post, the answer is here. highlight this whole line to see it. Any person who plays street fighter will know that the person in the picture is Ken. as there are ten pictures, what i'm trying to say is ten ken. Tenken. ie Soujiro.

~fact of the day: Hannya, the Oniwabanshu guy, uses stripes painted vertically down his arms to make them look longer. And I'm running out of facts.~
A little knowledge thingy for you.

Which RK character am i referring to? bear in mind the number of pictures. ^_^

ffx-2's coming out on saturday. ohboyohboyohboy </dexter's lab imitation>

~fact of the day: It's ironic that the 2 good guys' son turns out to be the most twisted of the bad guys.~
Rotting at home is not fun. not fun at all. in fact, it's terribly boring. like you all didn't know that already. somehow, i feel that my blog isn't...complete. any suggestions to improve it? use the tagboard. thanks.

this whole post is a space filler to help the author waste 5 minutes.
oh yes...nearly forgot...help me by answering this question: what is your browser's encoding setting? this is done so that my blog can be viewed by most people without any funny characters. thanks in advance for participation. ^_^

Back from the class gathering. damn tired. watching the upload of files take 300 million trillion billion zilliony years to complete. i think i'll fall asleep before it’s done. IT'S TAKING FAR TOO LONG!! and i just remembered. i'm screwed to hell and back. why? because i haven't touched chinese homework at all. i guess i'm gonna have to chiong it tomorrow morning. i'm so tired i forgot about paragraphing. wow. this will all be in one jumbo block of text. oh damn...i need the square paper thingy to do the chinese work. guess i'll go to school and buy. i wonder if dm allows cca attire in class? got cca after that, but i think i should be able to go home and change first. oh well...see how. do they have a yawning smiley? i sure could use one to show how i feel now. i'm just typing things as they come to me. so if it doesn't make sense, don't worry. the upload still isn't done. i really feel like leaving the com on through the night and letting it finish. but i can't do that...this computer is too feeble for that kind of heavy duty work. they just told me the upload failed. condemn geocities. god knows why it failed...it seems to match all the criteria for upload...maybe it just didn't like the first letter to be capitalized. it's amazing how incoherently you think when you're tired or drunk. not that i've tried the latter, but it should feel about the same. i could just fall asleep now...play any slow soothing music and i'll be gone. i think this is my longest blog entry so far...aside from the quizzes, but they don't count. have i mentioned i'm damn tired? well i am. i don’t see myself making it for chinese class tomorrow...but no choice. if i don't go then die liao. upload's taking too long...it's 0052 hrs...I HAVE A CHINESE CALSS IN 10 HOURS AND TRAINING AFTER THAT AS WELL!! and its gonna be 4 games, tournament style. whee. i'm gonna burn out. and i think there's still a meeting after that to discuss camp issues. wowee. i'll get murdered if i fall asleep halfway. as you can see from the amount i've typed, i'm using this to try and stay awake until the damn thing finishes. so PLEASE don't blame me if i sound repetitive. why won't it hurry up?? gerard & joash are pestering me for the photos, which incidentally are still in the process of uploading. if this fails, i'm calling it a night. i really can't stand this. i'm not giving up...sleep will not win over me. i'm not surrendering, no way. not yet. great. it's 0100 now...9 hours to chinese class. i really don't know any more ways of keeping awake, and i can't blast music now, so it's kinda quiet, perfect for sleeping. let's have a recap of the party to keep me awake. met juliano at 1730 to bring the food over. waited for wee seng. then took a cab down. i really can't imagine mrt-ing down carrying all the stuff. then we got there at...1800? went to watch them play pool/9ball/whachamacallit. took some photos, then went to grab a bite. after that, walked around for a while and took more photos. then everyone started coming. in the end only got about 21/38 present and they actually took attendance with namelist and all. oh man, it (upload) failed again. but i'll give it another shot. i'll really give up at 0130. so...then mr leong came. he ate, then we played DD. for some funny reason, he's really against magic cards and even threatened to burn them. wow...so my DD experience wasn't so bad...won a few, lost a few...the usual. then it was basically stay at the DD table and play. then at 2200+, helped to clean up. i guess it was david's mom that provided the drinks dispenser thingy. i may be wrong, but oh well. then took a few photos of the 5 people that went to make jerseys. for the sake of keeping myself awake, they are brendan, daniel, david, gerard and ming xun (mouse). my cam went out of battery so we borrowed *major cough* some from the tv remote controller. so then went to meet dad at yck mrt and came home where i tried (unsuccessfully) to upload photos. if you actually bother to read until here, you're either very concerned about me or very bored. if it's the former, thanks so much. if it's the latter, get a life. really can't stand it. hurryhurryhurryhurryhurryhurryhurryhurryhurryhurryhurryhurryhurryhurryhurryhurry. i'm running out of things to say. oh no. sleep has got me in a submission hold. i'm going to give up any moment, turn this damn machine off, and go to sleep. i'll look like a certain chinese animal tomorrow. ahhhh...uploaduploaduploadupload. fasterfasterfasterfasterfasterfasterfasterfaster!!!! i can't think straight now...i need the damn *bleep* *bleep* *bleepity bleep* thing to hurry up. if it fails now, i'll rape geocities with my bare hands...as soon as i get my energy back. damn...how long is this already? ahhhhhhhhh. i think i'll just wrap up here and think of a good fact of the day. and did i mention it failed for the third time? that's it. scratch the webpage idea. you guys can contact me on msn. i'll send it there, even if it takes a million years.

~fact of the day: saitou is left-handed. and the author (me) is helluva tired.~

Thursday, November 13, 2003

I'll be going back to school later...for history and then the class bbq. i think it should be fun. only thing is that i lost some of the handouts for history and...to put it simply, i'm in deep trouble unless i go photocopy.

*information for my cousin: dm toh finally changed his 3315 for a 7250i...he said it costs $200 only...and he helped me make up my mind for the phone change.*

~fact of the day: It's freaky when Saitou smiles...for proof, click here.~

Tuesday, November 11, 2003

I'm in some trouble. my history is supposed to be 1.5 times as thick as it currently is. meaning: i've miraculously lost some handouts. oh well.

today, i stayed in school from 0845 to 1845. that's like 10 hours. and i really have no idea how to do the tougher-than-o-level maths worksheet. i guess my a maths is almost gone...maybe i'll be forced to take 7 subs next year. seriously hope not.

*reply*
dexter: 3-7?? that's one of the best classes in the 2003 sec 3 level.

~fact of the day: Even though he had health problems, the old Kenshin still defeated the teenage Yahiko, and gave him the Sakabatou (reverse blade).~

Monday, November 10, 2003

Lessee...i'll be going back to school every day this week due to history, maths and chinese. wow. they should have just extended school for a week or two and not call us back at all. i (really) X 3 million hope that there was no maths homework. because if there was, i don't know about it and will most likely get murdered tomorrow.

history is sorta fun...we're supposed to assume the roles of the different countries involved in WWII and think from their (and the other countries') points of view. "know thy enemy" after all. daryl and i were doing germany. the most hated power and major cause of WWII. oh well, it was the best option available. i really didn't know italy was that involved, and to me, mussolini still sounds like a magician's name.

~fact of the day: Kenshin's body isn't suitable for the Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu. he's too small. his practice of the Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu led to health problems in his old age.~

Sunday, November 09, 2003

All of a sudden, i feel so holy. i actually tried to go to 2 seperate church events today, but only made it for 1. if i really had to choose, i'd rather have gone late for the first one than miss the scond one. i guess i feel kinda guilty...one does not break promises to god, or people he considers good friends. unfortunately, i broke a promise to a member of the latter category. i sorta hate myself now.

the funfair was a big success (or at least that's what i think). never knew so many cat high people would be attending. i can name about 7 offhand...andrew, gerard, yinwai, dexter, cristian, paul, wee seng, fabian...ok, so that's 8, but who's counting? they had a really wide selection of games and such...really fun.

as for the second church event, let's say i wasn't so lucky. so the mrt was delayed, and i didn't know the way, somehow got lost, met a *coughhackcoughhack* drunkard, and to top it off, it was raining. this must be someone's idea of a joke. normally, i would have found it funny, if it was played on another day. oh well. i know there's a moral in this story. just that i don't know where to look. i'll tell you if i find it.

note: *i just keep forgetting to post this* the comments feature is up. if you want to comment about a particular entry, click on its "Comments" link.

Maths remedial was...innovative, for lack of a better word. there was a game (synonymous with torture) played, where we stood on chairs until we could answer some questions on trigo differentiation. i only succeeded after the third attempt. oh well.

so...training after maths. 3 games as usual. i'm starting to realize that some sec 1's aren't so bad...or maybe i'm just turning soft. got lots of new assignments. and the person whom i chose to take over from me seems to be doing an excellent job in admin, but his skill on the lanes could be MUCH better.

~fact of the day: Shishio's sword absorbs the oil of the people he's killed, providing fuel for the Homura Dama.~

Thursday, November 06, 2003

Surprisingly, i didn't get murdered. 2 out of 4 seems to be just slightly above the mark. better get help on my weak topics. luckily. i have a cca-in-charge who teaches maths.

so training's tomorrow. need to find my pins. and complete a crapload of trigo differentiation.

~fact of the day: with the Shukuchi, Soujiro reaches his full speed the instant he starts running~
I'm gonna be in deep trouble. i can't figure out how to do indices and co-ord geometry. and tomorrow's the deadline. we're supposed to have the whole holiday to do this, but to quote the cold-water-genma (only ranma-watchers know what i mean), "how can you do anything great if you can't even rush this??" or something like that. oh well.

i suppose i better siam...got to wake up at 8 tomorrow.

note: started something new to hopefully get more people interested in RK and Saiyuki...and to refresh my knowledge as well. ^_^

fact of the day: nothing, i mean NOTHING, can beat Hiko-sama.

Tuesday, November 04, 2003

Recently, i've been laughing like an idiot a lot. god knows why, maybe i learned to find humour in my life...maybe not. who knows? ^_^

they unofficially took away 2 weeks of our holidays due to extra lessons. lots of maths and history. chinese ins't so bad...just that dm toh has to call us back in november and december. maybe his schedule is screwed up, but going back in the "official holiday month" seems...unusual.

lots of maths...ISL, cubic fn, diff, CG, and quite a few more. luckily i have tomorrow to complete all, then hand up on thursday. oh well. i leave you with a smile (^_^) as i feel another laughing fit coming on.

NOTE: Wee Leong, this week's training is on friday, 1300 to 1500. the rest of the time it's tuesday 1500-1730 (approximate).

Saturday, November 01, 2003

(many)^2 feelings now. let's see...i feel:

happy: i'm seeing some of the guys in 4-6 '04!!

sad: i'm not seeing some of the guys in 4-6 '04. were being seperated for the 2nd time in 2 years.

lonely: there's no-one else in my life.

dissatisfied: despite moderate success in my school life, there's ZERO success in my personal life.

conned: they took november away from our holidays!! but it's for the best...the big o's are next year after all.

sentimental: i feel strongly about 3-6. it has magical adhesive power, just like 2-5. it took 2 years to build that kind of feeling for 2-5, but only 1 year for 3-6. why?? is it because of the numerous get-togethers throughout the year? or is it because some of the relationships were carried on from last year? or is it simply because there are less bad elements in 3-6 than 2-5? i suppose i'll never really know. but throughout my 3 years of secondary school life, many new friendships have been forged within these 2 classes. and i know this sounds wrong, but i love them all to somewhere extremely far and back.

some personal messages to 3-6 guys:

david (& the rest of his clique): we're relying on you for entertainment!! stay cool always.

brendan: 4 years in the same class...wow. it's been hell of a ride, and it's gonna get better.

ming xun (mouse): i know you'll be successful, so cheers!!

gerard: you actually became less conman-ish. thanks for the memories so far, and i know you'll give us more next year.

justin (if you ever read this): you slacker!! my target is to beat you in term 1. i'll focus on weiss at term 3 ^_^.

all the band guys in sec 3 & 4 next year: even though you have to practise like crazy idiots , manage your time well.

any others who feel they should have been mentioned: i'm sorry for not putting your names up here. it's either i don't know you that well, or i have nothing to say about you.

rock on guys.

Friday, October 31, 2003

Words can't describe my feelings. these pictures show how i feel now. like a happy idiot.

Thursday, October 30, 2003

Well everyone, tomorrow's the big day. the day where our fates can no longer be changed, ie report-book-giving-out day (sorry, this was the best way i could phrase it at the point of writing). best of luck to everyone, but a more concentrated dose of luck to 3/6. ^_^

so, post-exam programme was kinda fun with dancing and all, at least we didn't have to endure 2 hours on the floor again.

the 2002 yearbook *finally* came. it's about time. while looking through it, i was reminded so much of last year's 2/5. the good and the bad. it also struck me that the school underwent some major changes. and i was there to witness it. sure some of the changes may not seem logical or reasonable, but we have to adapt.

the yearbook also had photos of all the classes (as it always does). looking at last year's sec 2 cohort, ie. us, it's quite difficult to think that over a year, most of the "boys" in the photos have taken up important roles in the student council/their respective ccas. not to be boastful, but 2/5 '02, the band and bowling class, has about 50% of the people in the 2 ccas as committee members. i wonder, did our seniors feel the same way as we (or at least i) do now? were they thinking "can we trust these guys with the cca's future?" or was it "i'm 100% confident in their abilities." for me now, looking at the sec 1's and 2's, it's the former question.

oh hell, my mind's really in a whirl now and i can't think too clearly, so i'll wrap up here.

btw. cool jersey, Brendan. ^_^

Tuesday, October 28, 2003

Well. first official day of monkhood. it isn't so bad...even though i still have a *tiny* bit of regret when looking in the mirror. oh well. typical class response, in the form of "EEEEEEYYYYYYYAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" just like the past 2 years. so cliched. ^_^

went to sentosa to scout the place for the camp. looks kinda fun...there's even a 7-11. but from what i hear, morning pt's gonna be...stressful.

oh well...life doesn't suck that much, unless they count average as a criteria for promotion.

some more lyrics i got my hands on:

Utada Hikaru - Simple and Clean (Kingdom Hearts theme)
When you walk away,
You don't hear me say "please,
Oh baby, don't go."
Simple and clean is the way that you're making me feel tonight,
It's hard to let it go.

You're giving me too many things, lately
you're all I need,
You smiled at me, and said,

Don't get me wrong, I love you
But does that mean I have to meet your father?
When we are older you'll understand
What I meant when I said "No,
I don't think life is quite that simple"

When you walk away,
You don't hear me say "please,
Oh baby, don't go."
Simple and clean is the way that you're making me feel tonight,
It's hard to let it go.

The daily things, that keep us all busy,
Are confusing me.
That's when you came to me, and said,

"Wish I could prove I love you
But does that mean I have to walk on water?
When we are older you'll understand
It's enough when I say so
And maybe some things are that simple"

When you walk away,
You don't hear me say "please,
Oh baby, don't go."
Simple and clean is the way that you're making me feel tonight,
It's hard to let it go.

Hold me,
Whatever lies beyond this morning,
Is a little later on.
Regardless of warnings the future doesn't scare me at all,
Nothing's like before.

When you walk away,
You don't hear me say "please,
Oh baby, don't go."
Simple and clean is the way that you're making me feel tonight,
It's hard to let it go.

Hold me,
Whatever lies beyond this morning,
Is a little later on.
Regardless of warnings the future doesn't scare me at all,
Nothing's like before.

Hold me,
Whatever lies beyond this morning,
Is a little later on.
Regardless of warnings the future doesn't scare me at all,
Nothing's like before.

Is it just me, or are people updating their blogs less frequently? now got nothing interesting to read...v_v

i'm really delaying making my ic. i WILL do it on monday.

i guess why people don't update that much now is that well, not much is going on in their lives now, after exams and all. not like during exam period, where there were updates to boost morale, relieve stress, kpkb about the papers etc. etc. now life is boring.

i guess i also will be updating less frequently from now...maybe once every 4-7 days? i think a summary of that number of days will be equivalent to one day in exam time.

Thursday, October 23, 2003

Mrs terminator bala (tm) rules the universe, right up there, slightly lower than Hiko-sama. apparently, she gave me the mark that i asked for. so now none of my english components got below 10.

*the following dance/song is done to a tune which brendan is most familiar with* I'm gonna go to sec 4...I'm gonna go to sec 4...(repeat as many times as it takes for excitement to wear off) */song and dance* see you guys in 4-6, 2004!! ^_^

i think a few people will get retained. i hope this is the best path for you guys to take and you all have my 100% support in the future, for whatever (legal) things you choose to do.

my results weren't as bad as i had imagined. i still passed 5 overall. condemned little *bleep*ing history paper...why can't i switch scores for terms 2 and 4? at least i may pass if that happens. *note: extra class on the week of the 10th. 1430 - 1630 (confirm this asap). test on the 14th, singapore history. checking answers on 18th, 0800 - 1000*

so now i have a 4 day weekend. need to catch up on a lot of things, like sleep, maths etc. etc. *note: get pocket-friendly version of KH* maybe i'll go to east coast tomorrow and stay the weekwnd...so my idea will be put to good use.

life rocks.

a little quiz i did:
godd
You are Form 1, Goddess: The Creator.

"And The Goddess planted the acorn of life.
She cried a single tear and shed a single drop
of blood upon the earth where she buried it.
From her blood and tear, the acorn grew into
the world."

Some examples of the Goddess Form are Gaia (Greek),
Jehova (Christian), and Brahma (Indian).
The Goddess is associated with the concept of
creation, the number 1, and the element of
earth.
Her sign is the dawn sun.

As a member of Form 1, you are a charismatic
individual and people are drawn to you.
Although sometimes you may seem emotionally
distant, you are deeply in tune with other
people's feelings and have tremendous empathy.
Sometimes you have a tendency to neglect your
own self. Goddesses are the best friends to
have because they're always willing to help.

Which Mythological Form Are You?
brought to you by Quizilla

garg
You are Form 4, Gargoyle: The Fallen.

"And The Gargoyle mended his wings from the
blood of the fallen so he could rise up from
imprisonment. With great speed and
resourcefulness, Gargoyle made the world his
for the taking."

Some examples of the Gargoyle Form are Daedalus
(Greek) and Mary Magdalene (Christian).
The Gargoyle is associated with the concept of
success, the number 4, and the element of wood.
His sign is the new moon.

As a member of Form 4, you are a creative and
resourceful individual. You are always
thinking of possible solutions to problems you
face and you generally choose one that is
right. Much of your success comes from your
ability to look at things a little differently
than everyone else. Gargoyles are the best
friends to have because they don't always take
things for face value.

Which Mythological Form Are You?

ok...so i took the quiz twice. they stole FF8's summon's pictures.

Wednesday, October 22, 2003

Been working on this camp proposal for the last 10, 000 years. ok...so it was only close to 3 hours...but it feels hell of a lot longer. if mrs long doesn't like it, too bad. for me that is. oh well, i did it to the best of my ability and i wasn't 100% clear on all the details, so there's obvoiusly room for improvement. oh well...i'll see her tomorrow and ask for her opinion.
I feel happy. jubilant. elated. on clouds one to 3 million. on the top of the world. i'm laughing like an idiot.nothing can spoil this day. not even getting into 5000 arguments with my closest friends (which i did not do btw). not even losing all my possessions in some screwy fire caused by a gas leak. ok...so that might spoil my day a little, but the main idea is i feel *GREAT*. the reason is simple: I PASSED ENGLISH.

although my compre got 9/25, my summary (which incidentally was marked by TERENCE GOH) got 19.5/25, bringing my total to 28.5/50. if mrs. terminator bala (tm) thinks i have a case and gives me the marks i asked for, my total is 30.5/50.

speech writing really got screwed up...15/30. apparently, i have "very simple language" and i'm "too vague". oh well. long essay got 19/30. god knows how i did it as i was BS-ing through the whole damn thing. i wanted to write another draft, but had no time. edwin heng must have been in a chao-good mood when he marked my script.

so my total's...61.5/110, which translates to...55.9~56/100 (this is assuming my appeal isn't successful). AND I PASS!! life is good.

dm toh was right...i 100% passed chinese, with a score of 61. the way he marked ying yong wen was damn nice...14/20. lim tow wee marked my compo (bao zhang, which >80% of the level did), and gave me 44/70. goh hock meng marked paper 2, and gave 63/110 (ok, so i could have done better). this adds up to 121/200, ie. 60.5~61/100. yay.

i shuld be able to pass english overall + at least 3 other subjects (chem, physics, chinese). so i guess i should be immune to HBK (hak boon kia, tm) and the 40 retainee places.

some replies...
biao tang ge: I bring over some of my exam papers let you try...see what you get.

sherman: Thanks for the comment on your blog. you didn't do too badly either. ^_^

Chelsea: Homura is the guy with his wrists chained up and with one blue and one gold eye. he's the Toushin Taishi (fighting god) who took over from Nataku. also, may i know how you got here?

Tuesday, October 21, 2003

Wonderful. now the record's pass 4 out of 7.guess which subject's being witheld? ENGLISH. the most important one. teachers are masters of torture, keeping back the one thing that determines our fate. if i don't pass english, it's bye-bye cat high.

this sucks. i only needed about 7.5 marks more to pass a maths. not too bad, considering the effort put in. on a happier note, dm toh confirmed i passed chinese. glory. but i did fail combined humans though (expected).

ok. after i hit the post/publish button, i will *NOT* worry about this any more. what's done is done, no changing it.

Monday, October 20, 2003

Damn teachers can mark fast. today already got back 5 results. here they are:

a maths: 44/100. quite expected. actually, better than expected. i was thinking about <=40...oh well.

maths: 63/100. not expected. this was a rather lucky break for me, as i didn't put in 100% effort. mr leong was kinda happy with my perforrmance. ^_^

chem: 70/100. a bit low for my standard, was aiming for >75...but oh well. this isn't too bad either.

history: 30/100. wowee...guess who fails overall because of this? i seriously don't have enough content to back up my viewpoint. i'm going to pull that up over the holidays.

physics: 61/100. a little worse than i expected. was going for >65. thanks to the holy mr siau (tm), i got the 1 in 61...because my J looked like an F and he deducted a mark, then gave it back. add-on: i'll never forget that 15 X 20 = 450

*results may be subject to change. this is not the overall, only the final year results*

now my hopes are up. if i do fail english, i think i'll have this *slight* chance to pass 5 others...i'm praying.

got scolded by chung lee siang today. she was unhappy about the physics results as we "failed by the hundreds," while the sec 4s "only had 11 failures." i was ignoring her comments as i passed (see above), but only started to feel a *little* bad when she talked about distinctions. but i have next year to work up.

my congratulations to those that passed, and deepest sympathies to those who failed. hopefully, 3/6 stays together as 4/6 2004 with no missing people. and before i forget...

CONGRATS JOACHIM!!!
Finally pass chem. ^_^

add-on: new song. this is really quite inspirational. if needed, lyrics can be foung by either scrolling WAY down, or going to http://animelyrics.com/anime/gsaiyuki/openupyourmind.htm

Sunday, October 19, 2003

8 hours before i have to wake up tomorrow. obviously, i won't get enough sleep.

i'm a little confused here...from my cousin, i heard the holiday begins in 3 weeks, while my friend says it begins in 2. anyone care to clarify this?

i've been reading through a few friend's blogs recently. hope all the people having fights/arguments/whatever and those feeling sad/depressed/bored/whatever solve the problem/get over it soon. try to stay happy/positive ok?? ^_^

Saturday, October 18, 2003

If i'm not mistaken, there's 2 more weeks until the holidays. oh well.

still must go back to school to do various acts of BS. example: continuing chinese. oh well...when dm's your chinese teacher, you don't have it easy. *note: get the 4A textbook*

they're going to go through the exam answers with us. probably to psycho us into a nervous wreck while wondering about our maths results. teachers are *SO* sadistic sometimes...

oh well, that'll do for now...i really have mixed feeling about going back to school on monday, but i'll elaborate later.

Well. 17/10 comes but once a year, like all other days. but i look foward to it more than any other day of the year, excluding the holidays and a few other *special* days. why? here's a hint...look at my profile.

ever felt bad, receive a message from someone, and suddenly it's all ok? well, it does happen. in fact, it happened today. the person who sent the message may never know this, but my day got a whole lot brighter. thanks, if you come here. people can have a miraculous effect on others sometimes, be it positive or negative.

i'm a little sad. maybe depressed. nah...not really, but sad all the same. yet, from a casual observer's point of view...it's all fine...reminds you of Soujiro, no? always smiling, but inside's a mess.

looking at all my posts, i'm amazed at all the things which go through my brain in my day-to-day life. if i didn't have this, i would surely have exploded with all that excess stuff in my brain. besides, html designing takes your mind off *other stuff* and gives you a break. must be why i change the stuff around here so much. helps me forget unpleasant and unwanted stuff...until i'm 18 and can drink, anyway.

sometimes, words aren't enough to express what you feel. they don't convey enough feeling. the voice is still the best way to get the full message, meaning, tone, purpose and all, across. i wish i had the courage to use it in front of the target to tell them my honest feelings though.

I'd like the whole world to know that i'm an idiot. i just made one of the most idiotic, hovering on moronic, choices of my life. but what the choice is isn't important. I just feel really bad now.

exams are *finally* over. kami-sama's going to receive less requests for blessing i suppose...from students anyway.

here's a question: would you rather risk losing a friend and let him/her know something, or keep his/her friendship and your secret? assume this secret is something they 85% would not like to hear and you are quite good friends. pls let me know what you think via tagboard.

NOTE: get a relatively big jar and >1000 of those paper strips. *post this in every message till you do so.*

KUZU RYU SEN!!!!!!!!!!!

yes i'm stressed...what gave it away?

last paper. after that, we go nuts. poor lit students. got at least another hour after the rest before they can go nuts. waiting is the hardest part...as of 2135 hrs, 14/10/03, there are 13++ more hours to freedom. i'll be asleep for 6-7 of these hours, revising for 2-3 of these hours and spending the rest of the time counting down. oh well.

NOTE: get a relatively big jar and >1000 of those paper strips. *post this in every message till you do so.*
As of now, history's history, ie. the exam's over. ^_^

maths tomorrow. apparently, i didn't do too well for a maths. oh well, it's expected. not that i can take this lying down, but a maths is sort of hopeless for me. note: use holidays to study for a maths.

normal maths should be easier. then again, mrs long and denis set the paper, so i don't know what to expect.

right now, some slack time then go all out for maths. it's the last paper. must do well.

NOTE: get a relatively big jar and >1000 of those paper strips. *post this in every message till you do so.*

EEEEYYYYYAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

if you haven't guessed, i'm studying for history. my brain's burning. still got singapore and mu to cover. *this is a self-motivational message* I WILL NOT SPOT FOR THE EXAMS. I GOT 8/25 FOR DOING SO. I MUST PASS THIS. SPOTTING IS BAD FOR HEALTH. NEVER SPOT ANSWERS. STUDY THE WHOLE DAMN THING, EVEN IF IT KILLS YOU. */self-motivational message*

i must pass this. if not, i fail. sounds stupid, but makes perfect sense. ^_^

NOTE: get a relatively big jar and >1000 of those paper strips. *post this in every message till you do so.*

Sunday, October 12, 2003

Wow...i love following links. saw so many old pri sch friends' blogs. all of them seen to be doing quite well. best wishes to them.

haven't started history. oops...not good. not good at all. lucky tomorrow no school. whole day devoted to chao pia history.

went downstairs to play (or practise, rather) soccer with my dad and brother. haven't done that for 10000 years. felt good though.

i'm looking for the perfect song to listen to as i do my stuff on the computer. nothing seems suitable, and even if they are, they are for 1 time only. any reccomendations?

NOTE: get a relatively big jar and >1000 of those paper strips. *post this in every message till you do so.*

Friday, October 10, 2003

Chem wasn't that tough. feel stupid for believing rumors. all i didn't know was how to spell the really long name of this one indicator...phenol...thingy.

weekend!! it brings 2 things: some relaxation and study for history. while all the other humans people are happily slacking, history people (aka. me) have to come back for 2 hours 15 mins to do the final year. oh well.

right now, i have half a day of rest, relaxation and whatever.

*add on*
i sort of feel that i post too often. is this true?? i really have no idea. on average, i'm clocking in an average of 1 or 2 posts per day, when finals are going on. i really should cut down.

I feel so...*what's the word...*frustrated today. physics was really (and i mean REALLY) smooth-sailing. sure to pass.

after the paper, went to j8 to grab breakfast/lunch with berwyn, keng wee & jeffrey. helped berwyn in chem, then he left. now here's the frustrating part.

i was supposed to meet someone else for studying, but he had a geog paper. so, i waited for him at bishan mrt. for TWO GODDAMN HOURS, i WAITED LIKE AN IDIOT. turned out he forgot, because i saw him on the bus, headed for somewhere else. 2 hours of my life spent at bishan mrt. wow.

chem paper tomorrow. not to sound overconfident, but even if i fail, i pass overall. ^_^ go me.

*add-on*
just heard that there'll be a killer paper. As long as i can maintain the a standard, i'll be happy. *slap* don't get complacent. just look through everything a few more times. it won't kill.

Wednesday, October 08, 2003

I feel the need to write. either blog or something else, so i went for blog. i guess it's thought-emptying day.

First up, a paper on some Hiten Mitsurugi techniques.

Ryu Tsui Sen, aka. long2 chui2 shan3 (Hammering Dragon Flash?)
Your basic air->ground maneuver. Well, not so basic. It is a part of the Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu (Henceforth referred to as the HMR) after all. It involves gaining great height and descending HARD on you enemy's head/shoulder. This is Kenshin's personal favourite move. *can anyone translate this?*

There's a variation which involves a downward stab, ie sword perpendicular to floor, instead of the usual slash, which has the sword almost parallel to the ground.

Ryu Kan Sen, aka. long2 juan3 shan3 (Twisting Dragon Flash?)
After evading an attack, you and your enemy often end up back-to-back, facing different directions. This attack brings your sword down on your enemy's neck from that position.

Variation: You run towards the attack, dodge it by ducking or going out of its reach, then bring your blade down on the neck.

Ryu Sou Sen, aka. long2 chao2 shan3
A downgraded Kuzu Ryu Sen. This hits any of the nine vital points (head, right shoulder, left shoulder, chest, right arm, left arm, groin, right leg and left leg) at random and at high speeds.

Variation: This hits only one point, but at higher speed.

Ryu Shou Sen, aka. long2 xiang2 shan3 (Flying Dragon Flash)
Your basic ground->air attack. Sword is held in both hands, parallel to the ground. You jump up and impact the incoming attack. This is also used right after the Ryu Tsui Sen when necessary.

Sou Ryu Sen, aka. shuang1 long2 shan3 (Twin Dragon Flash)
A battoujutsu is followed up by the movement of the saya (sheath), preventing any "open spots" for enemies to attack.

Variation: The saya is used first as a distraction.

Do Ryu Sen, aka. tu3 long2 shan3 (Ground Dragon Flash)
The sword is swung at high speed above the ground. The force causes dirt and rock to "shoot" forward, effectively making this a ranged attack.

Kuzu Ryu Sen, aka. jiu3 tou2 long2 shan3 (Nine-Headed Dragon Flash)
This strikes all nine vital points (mentioned above) simultaneously. There are only 2 known ways of defense: the Amakakeru Ryu no Hirameki, or the speed of the Shukuchi. Only Tenken no Soujiro has done the latter. Incidentally, this is Hiko-sama's favourite move. To quote him, "Every defensive stance is meant to defend one of the vital points. With the speed of the HMR, no defense is too strong for the Kuzu Ryu Sen."

Amakakeru Ryu no Hirameki, aka. tian1 xiang2 long2 shan3 (Heaven-Ascending Dragon Flash)
The ougi, or final technique of the HMR. Involves doing a battoujutsu at high speeds, leading with your left leg. You must have absolutely no fear of death to pull this off. If the first strike is evaded, the speed creates a vacuum, which keeps the opponent immobilized. To quote Hiko-sama again, "The Amakakeru Ryu no Hirameki is like a dragon (which is the background you see here), devastating its opponents with its razor-sharp claws. Should it be deflected, the wind of its passage renders the opponent helpless, unable to move."

This ougi also helps to determine the new Hiko Seijuro. If a HMR pupil is able to use this to counter his master's Kuzu Ryu Sen, he inherits the mantle and identity of Hiko Seijuro. This move is so powerful that either one must die, the master or the pupil. *This is not true for Kenshin and the present Hiko-sama.*

Now, physics.
So....it wasn't so bad. i have a dream. a dream of passing a maths. a dream of passing combined humans. with some luck, these dreams will come true.

papers today. suicidal. i may be able to pass combined humans, but i'm praying for a maths. who knew ms. chan was a john lennon fan?? his song came out as a source. thank god it was sbq. if structured came out, i'd just wither and die.

a maths was (almost) a killer. from q8 onwards, i died. if i can pass by q1-7, amen to me. as long as i don't drop any subjects...

tomorrow: physics. shouldn't be too hard...as long as the definitions and formulas sink in.

Amen to us all in this time of pain.

Tuesday, October 07, 2003

HERE COMES THE PAIN.

a maths and combined humans. even a saru (monkey) stands a better chance of passing than me. i'm going to study, pray and hope for the best.

Note to everyone (especially my better friends): best wishes. i'm praying for you.

Monday, October 06, 2003

I've made an important decision...i'm scrapping the clock in an effort to speed up loading time. hope it works...

today was rather boring. a maths/ss/elec on wednesday. this is a classic case of buay hiao si. oh well. i have to study:
- differentiation
- indices, surds, log
- trigo
- tourism
- industry
- agriculture
- everything in ss

actually, i'm quite prepared to fail ss. it's the only subject i'll 100% fail. hell, i even stand a chance to pass chinese and at least 1 maths. as long as my failures are 100% humans, i still pass 6, which means that i'll stand a good chance of being promoted. but i have to ace both maths papers to make up for previous terms.

BIG CHANGE!!!

as you can see, there's a nice picture of a dragon now. allow me to explain the significance of this dragon to RK.

this dragon is the hiten mitsurugi ryuu. literally translated, the hiten mitsurugi dragon. this dragon is supposed to represent the power of the hiten mitsurugi ryuu. and i thought it looked cool. ^_^
Extra maths class today. not much fun.exams start on wednesday again. somebody save me...or not. let me experience sitting in the hall for exams first. sounds a little like harry potter actually, should be quite fun.

i don't really have much to say now, so i guess i'll update later.

Dm toh is my second lord and (literal) saviour. First being Hiko-sama of course. i labelled my ying yong wen question wrongly, but he told me it was all right and he would help me change it, but it would get 0 in the o's. so, all together now, ALL HAIL DM TOH!!!!

chinese wasn't as hard as i thought it would be. thank kami-sama that i had a premonition to look at dan wu. at least i'm assured of 1/110 marks.

so...monday and tuesday's a break of sorts, but we still have to go back to school. wednesday comes a maths and combined humans. can you say 100% failure?? oh well...we'll let fate decide as usual.

First day of exams...oh boy. kami-sama's going to receive a lot more messages now, most from me asking him for blessing.

CHINESE TOMORROW!!!!!!! I'm slightly consoled by the fact that dm toh wrote some encouraging words in my ying yong wen book, but i have this strange feeling i'll die anyway. need to chao pia chinese later. *almost typed "tomorrow"...what am i thinking??* if i can score for paper 1 (dm makes it sound so easy...kami-sama knows how he does it), zao ju and li jie, i'll stand a chance of passing.

some notes:
- bring home elec geog and physics.
- study for the aforementioned subjects.
- pray to kami-sama more often. *in case you haven't figured it out, kami-sama means god in japanese*
- must...pass...english...

*de-stressing and thought-emptying to make room for chinese knowledge*
i screwed up my compo. no evidence of planning. c5-c6. OHNO!!! it's quite funny...we weren't allowed to use correction fluid in paper 1, but we were for paper 2. now all i have to do is find out who's allergic to correction fluid and either bribe or assisinate them.

i guarantee that mrs. terminator bala(tm) will not be able to find fault with my compre script. i spent 3 lines on a 1 mark question, making sure she couldn't fault me in any way. the only thing she can blame me for is untidy writing...but that's my natural font. so sue me.

for the first time in my life, i got invigilated by maurice cheong. now this isn't a big deal, but he reminds me of danny the ss god(tm). maybe it's the voice and character. who knows? i better stop thinking along this line, or my twisted little brain will get the wrong idea.

so that's it for today...once again, kami-sama bless all of us who are currently suffering from exam pressure.

Side-note: thanks to bobby yong. i know this isn't the best place to thank him, but he saved me from disciplinary action.
Morale booster today...i did quite well for both science tests that are to be included in final year!! *dance* i'm just going to pass english and both sciences.

speaking of english...

paper tomorrow. as long as no inference questions (which i thought belonged to history) come out, i should be able to get a decent score. but with MRS. TERMINATOR BALA(tm) marking our compre scripts, maybe i'm better off deciding to pass 5 other subjects instead. we'll let fate see about that.

must go for maths and physics help. both are logic-related, but maths is so much tougher. only kami-sama knows why. denis is extremely enthusiastic about maths...understandable, but he should spare a thought for our other subjects as well. maybe i'll be forced to drop a maths. i hope not, but you never know.

HBK(tm) said that he would try to fail as many of us as possible. wonderful, no? just the encouragement we need. i really need to do well so i can go up without any worries, unlike the girl dm toh told us about. oh well. i'm starting to let depression get to me, so i better stop here.
