Where has all my time gone? seems like i have fewer hours a day compared to everyone else, though that obviously can't be true. think it's the process of finding and adapting to my new schedule. have more or less settled into a routine over the past 2 weeks. wake up between 8:00 and 9:00am, then go to the gym for a quick workout. usually reach school before 11:30am, then do whatever until about 8:30pm before heading back. by the time i'm home, i'll usually have just enough energy to rot and watch youtube, only to sleep at around 1:30am. i think that last bit's the problem. need to adjust my sleeping time.

other than that, been getting back on the bandwagon for gymming. the gym opened a branch at holland village, which is really convenient for me. been going 2-3 times each week this month, and as you might guess, aches and pains are making their presences felt again. well...i did lay off for about two months, so i guess it's natural that my fitness level dropped. on the bright side, i'm slowly gaining the lost fitness back. there's already a difference between when i just got back to it, and today. of course, there's still a long long way to go.

things with the date have been smooth-sailing, and i'm grateful. probably the only exception was last weekend, where we had a semi-serious chat. semi-serious in the sense that it was about something serious, but it wasn't an argument, or even anything negative. that something serious was actually a minor thing, brought about by a difference in our expectations (yet again). after dinner with the mother last sunday, i had thought that we would be going back to their place for some quiet time. the date had different ideas, and wanted to go catch pokemon. we compromised and went to a pavillion-type shelter near their place, where the date played pokemon, and i had a short nap (it was a very long day). the date later told me that they weren't really the physical touch type of person (i'd known that already) and sometimes they need their own space. as it would happen, i'm quite the physical touch type. so there's probably going to be a difference in the way which we express affection. to put it another way, i guess the date felt overwhelmed? on my part, i just have to give the date the required time and space, and trust that they like me back. based on our interactions, i do believe that they do. only thing is, sometimes it'd be nice to have some actual verbal affirmation. but well...i just have to remember that people are different, and do things differently.

right, that's it for now. getting sleepy. am quite excited about date night tomorrow, as well as some cooking experiments which i'm going to try over the weekend. hopefully, things will carry on at this level, or ideally, get even better.

-random thought of the day: I'm going to the Final Fantasy concert!-
