ALTERNATIVELY...

Look at my blog title.
I really don't know what to do. i think i screwed up pretty badly. i feel so...messed up. why must this happen now, of all times??

i guess you could say some people look, but don't see. the same people hear, but don't listen. they also touch. but don't feel. yes, there is a difference. people who do more of the first are pretty insensitive. yes, the person may be the best-looking, best in whatever he does, but he pays no attention to details. i don't know why, but i hate these kind of people. speaking of "don't know why", i have no idea why i just wrote that.

must force myself to study chinese. if i fail, i'll be one of the lucky 40.

Maybe i still have some stuff to write aftrer all...

many emotions now...

worry: exams on tursday!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
excitement: for a reason i won't reveal here.
hope: that i may go to sec 4.
future disappointment: that i may *NOT* go to sec 4
neutrality: just...there.
confident: about chem
unconfident: about english and everything else besides chem.

that's my feelings for now...time to read other peoples' blogs to see if they feel the same.
Exam week is upon us. agony. denis is still loading us with maths as though it's the only subject on earth. but oh well, this is the consequence of having a good maths teacher...maybe too good. aside from that, life's becoming more fun. note: see teachers soon to seek help. i guess that's all i have for today. don't feel like writing.. .

4 more days to THE PAIN. i really have to meet up with teachers soon. i wonder what dm toh will do if i fail chinese...

right now, i'll be pia-ing for chinese. you can't really study for english, so i'll let my superior english linguistic ability (or not) do the job. but my not-so-superior chinese linguistic ability will have to get a boost.

lucky they give us a 5-day break between languages and the other subjects. then can chiong more.

so i'll begin work again soon...till then, slacking time.

Saturday, September 27, 2003

IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIt's saturday!! now the dramatic intro's done...

maths was boring today. i now know that i have superior intellect and can think. ^_^

loaded with revision and homework. crazy sadist *youknowwho*. stress relief time...
WHYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!?????

now i have:
- maths homework
- physics homework
- physics notes compilation *side note: should i compile chem notes?*
- date with dm toh for chinese help *tuesday probably*
- date with the holy mr siau(tm) for physics help *monday probably*
- date with joachim till 6 for studying
- date with danny the ss god(tm) *next week probably*
- date with ms chan *same day as danny probably*

to all readers (if any): i'm sorry this has become a to-do list of sorts, but i swear it'll be back to normal when exams are over as i'll be kpkb-ing about the toughness of papers, whether i'll get kicked out etc. so bear with me ok? thanks. ^_^

Friday, September 26, 2003

End of the week...not exactly. still got maths tomorrow.

today passed in pretty much the same fashion. chem test, 5 mins of elec geog as ms chan was late, double english where terence *LAUGHED*, maths which we wasted, history which nothing happened, and physics test which bobby gave us 35 mins for a 45 min paper. all in all, not much.

i really have to seek help. not from psychiatrists, but from teachers. in short, i need remedial. for chinese, physics and ss/elec. i have to ask: the holy mr siau(tm), dm toh, ms chan and danny the ss god(tm). of course, a little extra maths never killed anyone, so in goes denis.

order of priority:
- dm toh
- danny the ss god(tm)
- ms chan
- denis
- the holy mr siau(tm)

this is not how much i like them, just which exam is first. exam's in...5 more days. to quote nightcrawler, "wunderbar..." we're al gonna burn up and die!!!!!!!!!!!!™

lots of trademarks right??

note: for maths tomorrow, bring english to do as well. AND TAKE HOME THE GRAPH PAD.

Thursday, September 25, 2003

The maths remedial finally came about. oh well...you can't postpone stuff forever.

got injured today. some *IDIOT* purposely ran into me, making another *IDIOT* do the same. i stretched out my hand in self defense, and he ends up crushing my fingers. bloody painful. sort of a minor sprain. oh well, my typing/writing speed is reduced as the damn thing is on my right hand. hopefully this will clear up by next week. not being able to finish an exam paper due to physical handicap is *NOT* fun.

physics/chem test tomorrow. i guess i'll only study physics. i *AM* the chem guy after all. hell, i don't think i brought my book home. note: this is not overconfidence. i just plain forgot. i have to learn more about those tape timer thingys and latent heat. touching a bit of light never hurt either, i suppose. nor a bit of newton's laws. so, including maths homework, that's all i have today.

Wednesday, September 24, 2003

Today was a better day than yesterday. at least i got some chinese done. thanks to joachim for staying although he didn't have to. i appreciate it man. ^_^

his friend dexter was also doing work. damn funny. always drawing on the book and paper. lucky i could help as it was science. those 2000 sec 2's really quite sad...learning complex chem equations at such a young age.

after studying, went to j8 macs with joachim & dexter. those goons kept insisting i was staring at an "i'm lovin' it" tray mat thingy with a picture of a young girl. i'm NOT a bloody pedophile!! those two make the best team. just gang up on me. there was a little kid who went "mummy, why is he (referring to dexter) biting the ice?" damn funny.

so...all i need to do is maths and revise chinese for the test. if i remembered to bring back physics, i'll do that too.

Tuesday, September 23, 2003

Finished with homework...actually, this is more of a reminder post

note:
- BRING HOME ODYSSEY!!!
- read
Spent 1(?) hour teaching chem. i should charge for this. confirm a good source of income. joachim: pls. know that i haven't given up on you too. ^_^

homework:
- ss
- practice maths

and the countdown says i have.....*drumroll* 1 week and 1 day!!!
side note: i can't seem to view any blogspot blogs...maybe it's just me, or is it the same with everyone?

Monday, September 22, 2003

I've finished:
- yellow book
- a maths
- physics

mdm gay's work will be left for the extra 1 hour tomorrow.

note: total amount of $$ to bring is now $11.50
I seriously screwed up. to joachim: I'm so very sorry...it was misunderstanding...but now we're all happy right? ^_^

damn...of all things to forget, it had to be the writing pad. now i feel more idiotic.

homework list:
yellow book for dm toh
a maths for denis
physics
ss
and bring $7.50 for SS guidebook-thingy.

1 week and 3 days left.

Sunday, September 21, 2003

Bored to hell and back. just thinking about exams. 1 week and 4 days left. now is the time to go all out. no turning back once the time comes.

that was too cliched wasn't it?

reminders:
- borrow chinese textbook from juniors and photocopy the last few pages.
- get a new writing pad.
- upload some new songs.
- stay in school every day to study.

that about sums up my next week.

Saturday, September 20, 2003

Been reading through a few friend's blogs today. i realize my social life is VERY limited. oh dear...but i'll worry about that in november ok?

weekend. woke up at 12++ today. missed xme. doesn't really matter, i caught all of the episodes in advance. i have a break for today ONLY. tomorrow, it's back to chionging.

as i mentioned before, i'm staying in school until 6 every day to study. i guess we'll begin again on monday. studying in school is actually pretty fun...at least you get SOMETHING done. ^_^
Just changed the title. it's the lyrics to one of my favourite songs. you can find the lyrics by scrolling down. the song's called "open up your mind".

saiyuki finished today. one of the best endings i've seen. you really weren't kidding. now back to ranma.

Friday, September 19, 2003

End of the week already?? cool. left with 1 week and 5 days(?). so...qiuck recap of today.

- chem. revised history as i finished all the work yesterday. ^_^
- elec geog. it's that time of the month again...around 9/10 of the class was punished as they didn't bring/do workbook. i was spared. note: read 9.3 of geog textbook.
- double english. test
- maths. nothing new...just one speed round. note: questions in a maths book.
- THE TEST. i may scrape a pass.
- physics. 10/10 for practical. ^_^ note: one ws.

apparently, i told my parents my new study plan on the wrong day. screwball *you should know who you are...if not, leave a confirmation msg and i'l tell you in school monday* had to go out today, so i came home early. oh well. i guess you could call us a "study group", although i think we just meet up after school every day to talk and study. 2 sec 3s, 1 sec 2. funny, no?

so looks as if my weekend might be free...sort of. thinking of changing the blog title...might as well. the present one sounds so...flat.

Thursday, September 18, 2003

Add-on: turns out those cheapskates didn't show the demon hakkai. they show his limiters going, then showed him in human form after the fight. no fun. saiyuki finishes tomorrow. if i miss this, i'll never forgive myself...unless i see it in next monday 1600.
So...it's 2205. after this entry, i SWEAR i'll read my notes one more time. i have no choice but to neglect maths for the time being. hopefully deins will understand. if i read it once now, once during recess, once before the test, i THINK i should be safe.

luckily, i did most/all of my homework in school. time flies in the students' lounge/council room (for simplictiy's sake, only council room will be used from now on). it was actually kinda fun. ^_^

so maybe now every day, i'll finish my stuff in school then come home around 1800, watch saiyuki/ranma, then revise...sounds good? too bad i started in term 4.

that's about all for now. time to read history and pray for the best.

Wednesday, September 17, 2003

Extra maths lesson today. quite sian...it was raining and we (or i), were not in the mood to study. lesson ended at 1430 and i basically floated around and landed in 3/2. danny kept them back for ss as they didn't do their work. sad. after floating until 1455, i went in search of a history textbook as i lost mine 2 days before the test!!!! maybe i'll photocopy from daryl or darryl (confusing, no?) and see what fairy will grant me a miracle.

after a fruitless search, something possessed me to go to the students' lounge/council room and see what was going on. turns out joachim was in charge for the day. i helped him with some maths (yes, i helped in MATHS) and did some studying myself. after all that, it was 1700 (!). so i headed home, did some stuff and went to watch saiyuki.

it's the 3rd last episode today. finally i can see demon hakkai. well, i haven't seen him yet, all they showed was his retainers falling to the ground. i'm sure the ending's gonna be worth watching. after this, it's back to ranma.

so...i have to do some work, and PHOTOCOPY HISTORY TEXTBOOK AND COMBINE WITH NOTES

Monday, September 15, 2003

Term 4, day 1. not as bad as i assumed, but not as good as i hoped. exams start after childrens' day. wow. languages first, then combined humans, a maths, sciences, history and (last and least), maths. seems short, but it stretches over 2-3 weeks. shortest paper is 60 mins, longest is 135 mins. denis said some of us *coughMEcough* might not be able to make it. i MUST prove him wrong and torment him for another year. ^_^

NOTE: hand up hol assgn to DM toh by tomorrow.
Note: bring history home.

enough with the sad stuff...
training ended today. until after exams, we are cca free. maths is easy, coordinate geometry is not much kick. now seems to be a good time to thank the person who gave me a lift in the cab this evening, thus preventing me from missing saiyuki. thanks a lot. i really appreciate it. but the conman driver purposely took the long way, cheating us of...$0.3-0.5? oh well...it's the principle behind the thing.

Sunday, September 14, 2003

15+ more hours only...how sad. i'll have to start work by 5pm?? just english only.

i fell strangely sad. it's the holiday-withdrawal syndrome. *note: the author may start to sound whiny here* why couldn't it be 2 weeks??? pain...*/whiny*

oh well, life goes on, holiday or not.

Saturday, September 13, 2003

Saturday...only 1+ more day till we go back to school. sian...nothing better to do. i actually did almost all homework this holiday. go me. ^_^

with nothing else to say, i go back to counting down the hours till school starts.

Friday, September 12, 2003

Xun qin ji's back!!! i was so surprised when i saw it. all hail gu tian le. now i can see what i missed. ^_^
this update is solely to inform the general public about the above. the author apologizes if he appears bo liao.
Looks like my drive died off somewhere around wednesday. didn't do anything at all these few days, except some maths.

so...holidays drawing to a close. it wasn't ENTIRELY wasted after all. i may go to sec 4 next year.

i sort of reactivated my school portal account thingy. turns out i simply forgot the password...for 1+ year. i now have a place to upload my files...but only 5mb of space. oh well. as long as they don't find the netbig2 there...

made a new gamefaqs acct. backup. 700++ karma difference. wow. this new acct also means that i have a contributor name, as the one that was supposed to be mine got used up somewhere in 1997+, when my acct was nonexistent. so now i'm on a contributing craze...mainly useless cheats that EVERYBODY knows...but it does help get the numbers up.

Thursday, September 11, 2003

I know i'm posting too much for my own good, but i feel so...rushed. everything's happening too quickly. i need to slow down, but i can't afford to. i have 3 more weeks till finals. 21 days. 504 hours. 30,240 minutes. 1,814,400 seconds and counting. i'm at a loss here...or maybe it's just a state of depression.
Maths causes great pain. it's true. differentiation just became 3 million times tougher.

i don't know how to put what i'm experiencing now in words. i feel like i have a lot to catch up on...but do i? or am i just worrying too much? i know i can at least pass 4 or 5 subjects. el, chem, phys, history, maths. i may fail the rest. scrape a pass if lucky. but with my bs grades in the first 3 terms, i don't think so.

my conclusion: time to let off stress (again)
AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After reading both brendan's and juliano's blogs, i'm convinced that i missed dm toh's lesson (which i had no idea about). woo-friggin-hoo.

homework left:
- chinese *i have more reason to complete this now...dm toh will not be happy if i fail to do *2* things of his.
- english
that's basically it. unless another teacher gave work when i wasn't in class.

*NOTE*: retrieve geog tys from locker. do some screwy questions.

Tuesday, September 09, 2003

Side note: get a new form of message box soon!
I guess i'm pushing it...all i did today was a maths, excluding the extra textbook questions. i'm gonna burn up & die. yes i am. now i guess it's the 'to hell with the schedule, i'll do it asap' phase. in this phase, asap means if i don't feel like doing it today, i'll do it tomorrow. NOTE: finish ALL work by tomorrow latest. still got history test at term 4 week 1 friday. must make time to study. NOTE: the time i'm talking about is NOT term 4 week 1 thursday 2300 hrs.

so i now have:
- a maths textbook questions
- speech (i'm really pushing this one, no?)
- chinese
i must complete at least 2 out of 3 tomorrow. maybe save one for thursday. if i power up, i'll do all 3 by tomorrow. then thursday go for maths lesson and slack. revision begins friday. next monday LATEST. good? good.

Monday, September 08, 2003

Guess i'm not keeping to my schedule.

today's overview:
- left with english and 1 maths question which i have no idea of how to do.

so, assuming i wake up at 1000 tomorrow, i'll finish the speech by 1100, break for saiyuki/random tv viewing, then carry on as planned. if i don't wake up by 1000, too bad...gonna have to squeeze in the evening/night. when doing work, the radio tuned to 98.7 is your best friend.
Side note: just added a clock. hope the colour combo isn't too bad. please do post suggestions that would make it look better. thanks!
First day of the holidays. time passes quite fast when you're having fun...or so it seems.

i'm actually starting on the holiday homework on the first day. some things DO change after all. so far i've done the chem and a little maths. i know it's not that great an amount, but i need the encouragement/motivation/excuse to boast about nothing etc. etc.

ok...homework schedule:
monday - maths, chem, english
tuesday - a maths, chinese

tired of seeing these lists yet? i'm actually going to finish on tuesday. then the rest of the week will be devoted to revision on both maths. of course, i don't expect that i'll be able to do 100% of the maths papers, surely there'll be a few questions which i should know but don't. note to all sec 2's moving up to sec 3: learning is a whole-year thing. don't slack off during the term. trust me. i know.

according to my computer calendar, i have 25 days to prepare for final year.

revision order:
- maths 6 days
- physics 5 days
- ss/geog 3 days
- history 4 days
- chem 1 day
- chinese 6 days
something like that. if i pass final year, i'll spend my free time offering chem tuition to weaker students. if the guy up there can help me to help myself, i can help others too, no?

so my path is set. now to see if i have the endurance to walk down this rocky road (yes, it sounds a little i mean a lot cliched. so sue me).

Sunday, September 07, 2003

Looks like there will be maths on thursday at 0900 or 0930 after all. oh well.

i finally managed to catch the new episodes of XME, courtesy of andrew. thanks!! apocalypse looks strangely...egyptian, not like the big thingy he was in the original x-men.

so...holiday homework:
- english speech
- chinese
- 2 maths papers
- a tiny bit of chem
that's about it. if i'm good (and lucky), i'll finish by tuesday or wednesday.

Friday, September 05, 2003

Term's over. but only for a week. oh well. failed 4. i just can't believe my history grade. imagine that you've been getting 60+ for the first 2 terms and you get a 25 now. 25. bloody 25. damn...if not for that and chinese, i could have passed 6. combined humans is hopeless, as well as a maths, for me that is.

so...holiday schedule:
saturday: maths lesson at 0730
sunday : free
monday & rest of week: free. maybe except thursday.
quite relaxed, actually. but need to study also.

we're moving into the second season of saiyuki. i finally find out who homura is. whee.

final year's approaching in...1 month's time. 4 weeks. 28 days. 672 hours. 40230 minutes. 2419200 seconds and counting. oh dear.

Tuesday, September 02, 2003

My computer is seriously screwing up. luckily, i have all my music, videos etc. stored on a portable drive, so i'm not too afraid actually. all i'm sad about is i'll lose a computer with infrared capabilities. then again, there's always my dad's laptop, no?

Monday, September 01, 2003

Well, teachers' day (official) today. holiday. wow. all i did was some maths. differentiation is going to be easy.

last week of school. 4 more days. then a 1-week break. then chiong all the way for final year exam. whee. life's going to be more fun in the next few months. it's currently 2350 hrs. guess who can't really sleep? NOTE: history test is term 4 week 1 FRIDAY. which means i study in term 4 week 0 (ie. holiday) FRIDAY. ok? ok.

rather short today...i need to sleep.
